Are you a proactive person with a great interest in improving financial reporting and eager to work closely with the business?

KCC seeks to strengthen its CFO team with a Financial Controller in Oslo, reporting to the Senior Manager, Reporting and Control. The CFO team in KCC consists of four persons and is built on solid professional skills, enthusiasm, collaboration, and a strong drive to improve and develop KCC and the CFO-area. The team and the role work closely with other departments and business units in Oslo, Singapore, Dubai, and Manila. Through a combination of a small team and many contact points, you will attain deep knowledge into KCC’s business and how to run a listed and international company. 

Your responsibilities and task:

  • Responsible for monthly preparation and analysis of time-charter earnings for the fleet

  • Responsible for monthly reconciliations and analyses of financial consolidated figures

  • Responsible for preparing statutory financial statements for three subsidiaries

  • Support the finance organization in Manila in accounting related matters

  • Involved in preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports

  • Involved in accounting (IFRS) assessment and tax issues

  • Assist external auditors through quarterly review and annual audit

  • Evaluate and improve external reporting/communication of financial results

  • Maintain, develop, and automate financial reporting processes

  • Review and improve internal control, including internal audit assessments

  • Ad hoc analyses and project work


Your qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, audit or similar subject with minimum 1-2 years’ relevant experience from accounting/auditing or similar role, or substantial experience from accounting or similar role.  

  • Strong accounting competence

  • Strong in English (Oral and written)

  • Strong analytical skills and strong MS Office suite skills

  • Preferably experience with SAP/Onestream 

  • Interest for automation and IT-systems
