Head of Corporate Communications
in Torvald Klaveness

 For a temporary engagement of 12 to 18 months, we are now seeking a highly skilled and operative Head of Corporate Communications to lead our communication and corporate marketing efforts across our business units. Are you experienced within the communications and marketing field ready to take this opportunity to manage internal and external communication and marketing initiatives in Klaveness?

The ideal candidate will be able to create compelling content that engages and aligns with our diverse stakeholders, enhancing our brand and identity to reflect our ambitions and values.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and execute our corporate communication and marketing strategies to effectively make our company visible, approachable and attractive to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and coordination for communication matters, liaising closely with CEO and senior management.

  • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and support across the company to ensure a unified communications approach that reflects the company’s holistic strategy.

  • Lead the creation and dissemination of compelling content across various communication channels, including press releases, social media, our websites, and internal news channels.

  • Manage crisis communication strategies and response plans to safeguard the company's business and reputation during challenging situations.

  • Cultivate relationships with media outlets, and key stakeholders to amplify the company's messaging and thought leadership.

  • Oversee the coordination of company/business units events, presentations, conferences, and sponsorships to promote brand visibility and enhance company.

  • Upgrade and regularly update company presentations – both format and content, ensuring timely, forward-thinking, and effective communication to our external and internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain and develop our ‘look and feel’ and core branding platform.

  • Manage related vendors relevant to support and deliver communications services and oversee the communications budget. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in related field.

  • Proven experience in a communications role, preferably within a multinational organization.

  • Fluency in English is a must, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-driven and operative with the ability to develop and implement innovative communication solutions that drive business objectives.

  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media management, podcasts, and content creation.

  • Proficiency in audio, video and photo editing software is a plus.

  • Curious and self-driven with the ability to collaborate closely with various top executives across business units and locations.
