Are you up for a challenge? Then you could be our new Chief Financial Officer. As our CFO, you will play a pivotal role in enabling value creation, financial discipline and long‑term strategic direction for Torvald Klaveness.

As a member of the Executive Committee, the CFO will lead the Group’s financial strategy, performance management, risk governance, and corporate structuring - while contributing actively to enterprise-wide transformation and ownership succession.

The role combines engagement across all portfolio companies with Holding-level responsibility for financial planning, capital allocation, and risk oversight. The CFO is expected to safeguard operational control, ensure sound reporting and compliance, and drive forward-looking initiatives such as ERP modernization, AI-readiness, and shared services efficiency.

The position is located in Oslo, and you will be reporting to the CEO of Torvald Klaveness.

Areas of responsibilities and main tasks:

  • Active contributor to corporate strategy execution, performance culture, and cross-functional governance

  • Overall responsibility for the Group’s financial consolidation, tax planning, and reporting with focus on performance- and value creation insight

  • Drive financial control and performance across the Group, including interaction with portfolio companies

  • Oversee financial systems, risk management, and process integration across the Group

  • Support generational transition through structural, financial, and governance preparedness

Desired background and qualifications:

  • A master’s degree from a well-reputed university with strong academic records

  • Extensive senior leadership experience in finance

  • Proven track record in capital allocation, risk governance, and strategic financial management

  • Proven experience in applying strong commercial acumen and partnering closely with business leaders

  • Experience from international ownership structures, governance, and transitions
