Mehrdad Amini, newly appointed Board Member at Torvald Klaveness.

Oslo, 24 February 2026: Torvald Klaveness has appointed Mehrdad Amini as a new member of its Board of Directors, effective February 2026.

Amini is currently Group CFO and EVP Strategy at Møller Mobility Group AS, one of the leading automotive companies in the Nordics and Baltics. In his role, he is responsible for the Group’s finance functions as well as company strategy, M&A, and investments across the value chain.

“Mehrdad brings strong experience from strategy development, capital allocation and value creation in a family-owned holding structure. His background from both industrial operations and investment environments will be highly relevant as Klaveness continues to evolve its portfolio and grow its service-based activities,” says Klaveness CEO, Ernst Meyer.

Prior to joining Møller Mobility Group, Amini was Investment Director at Aars and served as a Board member of Møller Mobility Group. He has also worked as Investment Manager at Aker ASA and held positions at Aker Solutions and DNB Bank ASA. He holds a MSc in Finance from ESADE Business School in Barcelona and a BSc in Finance from BI Norwegian Business School.

“I am impressed by Klaveness’ strong brand and long history in an industry that represents a core part of Norwegian heritage,” says Amini. “The company has demonstrated an ability to remain relevant and create value over decades through innovation and technology. I look forward to contributing with perspectives from my experience working with other family-owned holdings, as well as from navigating strategy and investments under uncertainty, in sectors where industry dynamics have become increasingly disrupted and challenged.”
