After seeing increased interest from the market, we are seeking a curious and committed Account Executive. This role will be an integral contributor in strategically positioning Klaveness Digitals' flagship - CargoValue - in the market on its path to enable and connect the next generation of industrial supply chains.

The ideal candidate has deep methodological cognizance of sales and empathy to grasp different buying personas - with the results to back it up.

The role
The role as an Account Executive requires a balance of methodological understanding to manage a robust pipeline, a consultative approach to understand and build business cases & interpersonal skills to manage relationships internally and externally.

You’ll work with some of the world’s largest industrial companies, helping them to leverage cutting-edge digital solutions to optimize their supply chains and logistics operations. You’ll play a substantial role in building a successful company - by identifying new business opportunities and fostering long-lasting customer relationships.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with the target accounts high-level executives' overall strategic objectives that ensure consistent progress toward revenue goals

  2. Identify and qualify opportunities by analyzing their needs, challenges, and business objectives, but also to gather more extensive knowledge that drives industry trends

  3. Drive value-based selling articulating the unique value proposition of CargoValue and help our prospective clients re-imagine their approach to ocean-based supply chains.

  4. Track and report sales metrics to provide accurate forecasting, evaluate performance against targets, and identify areas of improvement

  5. Collaborate with internal teams such as customer success, marketing, and product to leverage resources to develop articulate account plans, share successes and failures

  6. Stay updated on industry trends to stay informed on the evolving needs of high-level executives and proactively adapt sales tactic

  7. Engage in professional development activities such as sales training programs, and network groups to enhance sales skills and stay at the forefront of best sales practice

This is you:

  • Proven sales experience in similar B2B SaaS space, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills.

  • Strong presentation skills, and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to handle complex negotiations with senior-level executives.

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

 

In summary, the role of a CargoValue Account Executive requires a balance of sales skills and consultative skills including relationship management, change management, strategic thinking, and product knowledge, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
