Nisha Pillai is an accomplished former news presenter with BBC World News who now specializes in moderating panel discussions and high-Level dialogues. She has worked closely with several UN agencies, with scientific institutes such as CERN, and with industry events and conferences in the Finance, IT and Energy sectors.
Nisha’s 25-year career at the BBC culminated as one of the main news anchors at BBC World News, where she reported extensively during the 9/11 attacks and the Iraq war. She was also one of the first regular interviewers on Hard Talk. As an award-winning investigative journalist at Panorama, the BBC’s flagship current affairs program, Nisha had notable investigations to her name. She was awarded the Royal Television Society’s Award for her investigation into the late Robert Maxwell, which was broadcast a month before his death. Nisha cut her teeth as a financial journalist at the Investors Chronicle and on the BBC’s Money Program. She read economics at the London School of Economics and was a graduate trainee at Schroders.

Ernst Meyer has been with Torvald Klaveness in 2019 in the roles of Chief Operations Officer and Managing Director for Klaveness Ship Management. In January 2022, he was appointed new Chief Executive Officer for Torvald Klaveness. Prior to joining Torvald Klaveness, Meyer worked 20 years for Det Norske Veritas (DNV) in various executive positions.
He holds a Master of Sciences in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim.

Engebret Dahm, a Norwegian national, has more than 30 years’ experience in the shipping and finance industries. Dahm was appointed CEO of Klaveness Combination Carriers ASA in 2018 and before that he held the position as Head of Combination Carriers in Torvald Klaveness. Prior to that he was the CEO of Norwegian Car Carriers AS and he worked in the period 1998-2000 for Crédit Agricole CIB in Paris. In the period 1990-1998 and 2000-2006, he had various positions in Torvald Klaveness, amongst others as Head of Klaveness’ transloader and beltunloader business.
Dahm is a board member of Oslo Shipowners’ Association.
He holds a degree in business from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
He holds a Master of Sciences in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim.

Rahman Moayeri is an expert in global supply chain & logistics covering several industries. Through different companies & roles he is experienced in all aspects of supply operations, materials management, purchasing, inventory management & integrated business process management. He is specialized in process creation & improvement and system implementations with focus on delivery performance, resources optimization & cost reduction. With his extensive experience and track record he has been advocating sustainable supply chain representing Alcoa for many years in the Dutch Shipping Council. Rahman is a graduate of Rotterdam Business school in The Netherlands & Universidad Miguel Hernandez in Spain.

Prior to joining Klaveness, Kylstad was Chief Operating Officer in Katapult Ocean following several years working with EU public affairs, including for the Norwegian Shipowners Association. She is currently a non-executive director in Solstad Offshore ASA and GC Rieber Salt.
Kylstad holds an MSc in European Studies and Identities from the London School of Political Science and Executive Education from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management from INSEAD.

With over two decades of shipping experience, Michael Jørgensen serves as EVP and Head of Dry Bulk at Torvald Klaveness, a leading ship operator known for integrating innovation, sustainability, and digital solutions into its operations. In addition to mainstream operations, Klaveness Dry Bulk and Marubeni Corporation run the Panamax pool Baumarine by MaruKlav, where Jørgensen holds the position of Managing Director.
Driven by a passion for challenging the status quo and seeking new ways to deliver value, Jørgensen is dedicated to enhancing the sustainability and digitalization of bulk shipping and together with his team, launched the freight decision-making platform Market Manager by Klaveness in 2023.

Leonardo is a seasoned Energy Market and Trading leader based in Houston with 20 years of experience on various Commercial Leadership positions on traditional Oil & Gas, Trading and Renewable markets. Currently Leonardo is responsible for the Global Shipping activities and Biobased Diesel platform at Raizen, an Energy Company deeply focused on Sustainability and Renewable Energy and Fuels.

Jonathan Hadley is Head of Commercial for Bauxite & Alumina at Hydro Aluminum, where he leads the trading, freight, supply chain and commercial operations. Jonathan has over 20 years’ experience in commercial, risk management and supply chain roles at various global mining companies. Prior to joining the commodity industry, Jonathan worked in banking in London specializing in financial risk management.

Håkon Arne Moltubakk is the Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Klaveness Combination Carriers (KCC) since February 2024. He is responsible for strategy and development projects, including market research at KCC. Håkon holds a master’s degree in business and has spent that last 10 years at Klaveness, working in various positions within the finance, treasury, and risk management department. This included roles as a Senior Financial Analyst and Senior Manager of Finance and Investor Relations at KCC.

Kristian S. Hauk is a Market Analyst at Klaveness Dry Bulk with nearly 10 years of experience. With a master’s degree in maritime engineering, Kristian has a background in the energy sector, focusing on Norwegian oil & gas and renewables as well as planning and execution of marine operations. Over the past two years at Klaveness, he has been providing market insights and data driven support for the dry-bulk chartering and FFA team that combines internal data sources and tools with publicly available information for the best risk/reward approach to our market exposure. Outside of work, Kristian enjoys playing tennis, skiing, and has a history in competitive kayaking.
