Rebekka Glasser Herlofsen joins Klaveness Board of Directors

We are thrilled to welcome Rebekka Glasser Herlofsen back to the Klaveness’ Board of Directors from April 1st, 2022. Herlofsen previously served on the Klaveness Board from September 2009-11 and recently completed a 2-year term on the Klaveness Combination Carriers (KCC) Board from April 2020-22. The appointment increases Klaveness’ Board from three to four members.
On the move, Herlofsen comments, “having worked closely with Klaveness in different capacities over the last 13 years, it is a great pleasure for me to be joining the board of Torvald Klaveness. I know Klaveness as a great company with strong values, and with a real desire to bring about improvements in shipping. It will be an honor to contribute in any small way I can to ensure that great traditions are continued or even improved.”
Herlofsen brings more than 25 years’ experience in the shipping and finance industries, having previously served as CFO at Klaveness from 2012-17 and on the management teams of several other leading Norwegian shipping companies. She is now an independent consultant, investor, and Board professional.
